Zac: this is epic
me: an announcement like this bill failing should have at least some people talking
and we're all just quiet and eating our soups at our desks
oh ho hum dow dropped 600 points munch on my sandwich yadda yadda

Zac: good news is that this will destroy the republicans. it will become a massacre
me: which i am thrilled about
but why do people not care about this?!
at least within the newsroom
they seem smart
Zac: because they don't understand the economy
nobody does
nobody realizes that if GM doesn't get $25m, they will put fewer vehicles on the lots and local dealers will sell fewer cars and there will be fewer ads taken out in the paper and there will be fewer jobs in the newsroom
and that's just car sales. my 401k has tanked this year
just in the last two months
